The K-8 curriculum laid out in Beyond Stone Walls was developed principally by classroom teachers, graduate students, and faculty in the school of education. Its goal is HOW to teach the science standards, using a transdisciplinary framework.

The discipline-specific content beneath the curriculum, concerns WHAT to teach. Because the scope of content is so broad, we offer this one-stop reference guide to the subject of stone walls in general, and to the book Stone Wall Secrets in particular. With this guide, a teacher or curriculum designer can easily upgrade their knowledge of many related subjects.

The teachers reference is always under construction because we are trying to keep it up to date. Most recently it incorporates comments by Drs. Paul Beirman and Douglas Kaufmann, external consultants to the NSF project. Follow the links to:
