National Standards Alignment

Although the transdisciplinary model emphasizes the holistic nature of learning, as opposed to the insufficient, fragmented perspective offered by separate disciplines, for educator’s ease of use and adaptation, each specific lesson on our site is aligned with national standards in the areas of science, math and English/Language Arts.. In the model case study used for Grades 6-8 (Downtown Partnership Project) the learning activities have been grounded in and align with the national standards, but the standards are neither isolated, nor listed due to the absence of lesson plans.
